Our Day Of Flowers Part 2

Let me take you for a wander through my favourite part of the Allendale Gardens I wrote about in my previous post.
The hydrangeas created swathes of colour along paths of dappled light and cascaded down the bank of the creek that runs through the property.
Hydrangeas weren’t the only thing to add a splash of blue to this part of the garden. Peacocks and the gentle sound of wind chimes added to the enchantment.
You can imagine it took great restraint for me to not be picking flowers to create fairy dresses! And I’ve come home wanting to add a lot more hydrangeas to my garden.

I love the purple and blue hydrangeas. They certainly look happy living there! Do you use feathers in your dresses? I’d love to see a peacock inspired blue/green one – it’d be fabulous! đŸ™‚

It all makes me smile! Gorgeous flowers, the water, the peacock. Makes me think I need to visit my local gardens and soak it all in . . .
They are such peaceful places to wander in. Maybe you could share some pictures from your local garden in a post?
